OCTOBER 10th, 2025 Berkeley Steam Ferry San Diego, CA

Ahoy!

You’ve been invited to our wedding! aboard the Berkeley Steam Ferry in San Diego, California.

October 10th, 2025, 5pm

All ready to go? If you will be joining us, please RSVP at this link!

We are very excited about this venue and can’t wait for you to see it. The Berkeley Steam Ferry was built in 1898 by Union Iron Works, it was the largest commuter ferry in the U.S. at the time, carrying up to 1,700 passengers across San Francisco Bay for 60 years. It is now permanently housed at the San Diego Maritime Museum in the San Diego bay.

We appreciate all of your support up to this point in our relationship and can’t wait to celebrate with you! We will answer some questions down below!

Do I need to RSVP?

Yes, if you are coming to the wedding, even if you live in town, we ask that you RSVP by September 1st, 2025. If your letter was addressed to multiple people, please ensure that someone fills out the form for each person individually.  Please click this link to do so.

Can I bring a plus 1?
No, only the person to whom the invitation letter is addressed is invited unless otherwise stated (will be in the letter). We wish we could invite everybody and their plus 1, but we do have specific restraints.

I’m coming from out of town, where do I stay?
Any accomodation in downtown San Diego will be convenient. If you have a large party the Wyndham Bayside Hotel can organize a block of rooms for a discounted price when you mention our event at the Maritime Museum, plus it’s right across the street!

What do I wear?
Formal/cocktail is our attire requirement. Traditionally, this includes an evening suit and tie and floor to knee length dresses, but we understand the constraints of gendered clothing and want you to express yourself. Think of this as an opportunity to dress up, have fun, and get creative!

Venue sounds cool but what will it be like?
The Berkeley is ADA accessible, there is an elevator to the top section where we will be. It is mostly indoor with a small outdoor area towards the back. This is an old boat, please no open flame or cigarettes on the boat. There is a lot of seating available throughout the venue space, we will not have assigned seating.

What is dinner going to be like?
This will be a buffet style meal, it will be completely vegan with other considerations for dietary restrictions. There will be small desserts and a cake after the buffet. We will have one hour of open bar after the ceremony for “cocktail hour,” afterwards a full bar will be available for purchase. Please reach out to us if you have any life threatening dietary restrictions.

Will there be dancing?
Absolutely, we will have a DJ the full night. Please do not request any songs from the DJ, we are trusting them to curate a mood for our night.

Do you have a registry?
No, we are looking to gather money for our honeymoon fund! Anything would be appreciated so that we can take a special trip together! <3
Please click this link to donate.
Please email us or get in touch for other payment options.

What would you like to do for your honeymoon?

We would love to go to Europe for three weeks to travel and explore. Mostly to spend time eating good food, enjoying each other’s company, and exploring what they have to offer. If you have any recommendations or would like to hear more about our plans, feel free to reach out!

Any other questions don’t hesitate to ask! Send us an email.
